County Lifting was started over 30 years ago to provide a service in moving not only the industrial machinery we are known for now but also valuable and rare pieces of artwork. From inception to the present day, we have been expanding the different services we can offer, from crane hire to specialist fabrication. However, we are still specialist machinery movers at heart and this expertise is where we love to focus.

Machinery Relocation Projects
This doesn't matter to County Lifting. We are able to transport single items just down the road or undertake a complete factory relocation project to a different county or even country.
Our Equipment
We have a range of specialist equipment to ensure we are able to meet the requirements of every job we complete. Our fleet is one of the largest in the industry as well as being one of the most varied, allowing us to find and utilise the perfect and cost-effective solution for your machinery relocation projects.
Everyday versatility
One of our top performers and a piece of lifting equipment we use on a daily basis for machinery moves are our Versa-Lifts. If the load is centred on the forks, they can lift an impressive 27,300kgs but even if not their 16,300kgs capacity is excellent. Living up to their name, they really are one of the most versatile pieces of equipment we use.
Range-topping mobile crane
Compared to the Versa-Lifts, our Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1 is the biggest crane in our fleet. There are few jobs this crane can't handle with its 130T capacity and 60m length completing machinery installations with ease. This amount of size and power isn't required for every contract lifting job though, so we also have a 20T Tadano crane and everything in between.
Heavy Transport on the roads
The heavy lifting is only one step of the process. Our range of lorries are some of the most capable machinery movers with Scania's and 4-axle step frame trailers perfect for carrying abnormal loads or more complex pieces of a production line.
Health & Safety
Every piece of equipment, from our cranes to ramps and straps come with a certificate of test to show it meets all the latest Health & Safety guidelines.
Each project gets full risk assessments and method statements so every machinery removal goes smoothly. Couple this with knowing we are fully insured and you can be sure all machinery moves are completed with a professional approach.
Not ready to move in yet - store with us too
As part of our services, we have a number of storage solutions to offer making the move from an old unit to a new one much less stressful. All of the standard facilities we manage are monitored by CCTV systems as well as having a physical guards presence on site.
If your item is of high value or needs that extra level of security, we have additional insurance packages available to cover any machinery whilst it is in our storage for a piece of mind.
No matter how long you want to store for, or how much you need storing, we are able to offer storage solutions for every job; single items for one day, or a full production line long-term.
