Machinery Installation
At County Lifting, not only do we move machinery, but we can install it at its new location as well. This doesn’t just apply to existing machinery either, we can work with manufacturers and distributors to fit new machinery as well.
Any piece of machinery is a large investment, so taking the care to make sure it is professionally installed and set up ready for commissioning will preserve any manufacturer’s warranty. This is where we come in; as specialists in machinery installation, we can provide bespoke services to meet your individual requirements.
Our Fleet
We have one of the largest and most diverse fleets of equipment that can be hired out in any combination to suit whatever needs and requirements your job might have. One of our key pieces of equipment we use on a day-to-day basis is the Versa-Lift 25/35. This capable machine can carry a 27,300kg’s load when positioned over the centre of the forks, making it perfect for positioning large pieces of machinery. These are operated by our highly trained and experienced engineers and even can be remotely operated if needed. With Dual Fuel or LPG options, these machines are a very versatile bit of kit and one of the most popular items of the fleet we hire out.
Machinery Movement
If you have existing single items or a full production line that needs installing to a new location, we can offer the full move. From the old unit, to the new one and ready to go, we have all the resources and experience to complete this to a high standard whilst being very cost effective. Our range of Mobile Cranes can lift at various levels, from our 20t Tadano right up to the largest in the fleet, a Liebherr 130t, there isn’t much we aren’t able to move. On the road, these cranes are supported by a number of HGV’s in various guises with the biggest being CAT2 Scania’s with a 4-axle step frame trailer with ramps. Able to carry some of the largest pieces of a manufacturing plant, these are lorries prove themselves very useful when transporting all sort of machinery in and around the UK and throughout Europe as well.
Need Storage?
Sometimes the plan doesn’t quite work out for moving items between places. Whether that be something out of control or that the new unit wasn’t meant to be ready immediately, we can offer long- and short-term storage from a single item to a full production line. We have both internal and eternal storage facilities which are all covered with monitored CCTV and alarm systems. Out of hours, security guards are on site to provide further security. For high value machinery, we can offer additional insurance packages and even power supplies for machines that need to be powered up for maintenance or cleaning whilst in storage.
Health & Safety
Health and Safety is important for every aspect of the project, so with careful planning and preparation we can carry out the job as safely as possible. Each project is assigned it’s own Project Manager that will oversee the job until completion. Our on-site engineers work in pairs as solo working is often an area where incidents can happen. Depending on the size of the job, each team comes equipped with either a 3.5t van containing a selection of tools and machinery or an additional HGV which has a container-built workshop on board. Inside, there have a range of equipment from heavy duty jacks, stillages and stakes as well as all the normal tools required for a top-quality job.
